"The best small ski area you'll ever visit. The Taylors are so friendly, there are a crazy amount of honey holes, and the terrain is fun and unique. Also love the feel of the lodge/deck, and some great drinks at the lively bar. Also, you won't find this cheap of a ticket anywhere. For the amount of terrain, this is the best deal in skiing. The double chairs are slow and the snow can be thin, but it's all part..."

"Super cool small resort with a great vibe. Would love to try out the night skiing and a day with more snow and powder. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend going if you have the opportunity!"

"My kids loved skiing here, which they did for physical education in school when we lived in Helena. It was always a treat to watch them hit the slopes."

"Sick ski spot. Tons of space to explore. Found some rocks but also some great runs. Lifts are slow but gives you a chance to tune up with the boys. Food was much better than the typical school yard mystery burger and prices were right on the money."

"Quiet little mountain. It's so nice that they make their own snow to help a dry/warmer season. The chairlifts are short with short lines. The ability to rent equipment out or fix and repair a broken piece of equipment is so nice to have in a pinch! Having lights and open hours during the evening is pretty awesome as well!! Absolutely loved it and will be coming back!"

"This place was packed during the weekend. Offers different runs with several lifts, have to wait about 10 minutes though. Staffs work there are really nice and helpful. Worth paying a visit"

"Great Divide is Helena’s hidden gem! It has good customer service and fun terrain and zero lift lines. Top three favorite thing about this mountain: 1. Genuine old-school feel. 2. Parents are allowed to baby wear-while skiing. A huge plus! 3. Family oriented homeschool ski days! These events have no chaperone or student group size limit and happen throughout the season. Great Divide makes lift tickets and rentals very affordable, especially for large families. (Thank you!!!) I’ve been skiing the..."

"I am a MT native, born and raised. I grew up skiing at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. I have raced down Big Mountain and Red Lodge. While those were amazing places to ski, Great Divide has that local and community feel that other ski resorts have lost over the years. This is in my opinion, the BEST place to teach littles how to ski. It is affordable for parents and it is perfect learning terrain on the lower lifts...."
